The Danish artist Marco Evaristti (previously mentioned here) has been arrested (again!) – this time on the Mont Blanc, where he is creating his Mont Rouge Project. French police arrived at the “crime scene” in a helicopter at 11 am this morning and arrested Evaristti, because they believe he was about to dump red paint on the mountain (dr.dk). However, according to the journalist traveling with him, Evaristti had abandoned the idea of using paint. Instead, he wants to build a house on a large red carpet and form a “Pink State“. You can follow the project at Evaristtis new blog.
UPDATE: Evaristti was released later this afternoon. He tells about todays events on his blog.
